Crosstour Performance

  • Absolute power delights absolutely

Want power? How about a 3.5-litre, 24-valve, SOHC, i-VTEC® V-6 engine with 271 horsepower and 254 lb.-ft. of torque? That’s the most powerful engine you’ll find in any Honda, and more than enough pep to reignite your love of the open road. It’s legendary Accord engine performance served up via an advanced 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control.

  • A fine balance

To maximize fuel efficiency without compromising all that power, check out the Variable Cylinder Management® (VCM®) system. When you want raw power, the system engages all six cylinders for a truly invigorating drive. For more moderate highway or country road driving, the engine can operate on four. And when you’re cruising in the city, the system can operate on three. It’s the Crosstour at its versatile best: serious horsepower when you want it and greater fuel efficiency overall.

  • Pray for rain

Go anywhere and do anything. Sedan performance meets all-weather, all-conditions handling. That’s the idea behind the Crosstour’s available Real Time 4WD® system. If the front wheels begin to slip due to inclement weather or suddenly changing road conditions, the system automatically and seamlessly engages to deliver stabilizing power and traction to the rear wheels. For added control – and the Accord’s signature responsiveness – the Crosstour is equipped with an independent double-wishbone front and multi-link double-wishbone rear suspension.

Crosstour Versatility

  • Don’t sweat the big stuff

Size and agility. Open the rear tailgate and the Crosstour reveals its versatile nature – 728 litres of it to be exact. In its upright position, the rear cargo area has more than enough space for your golf gear and your groceries. Pull the discreet release levers and the 60/40 split rear seats fold flat to accommodate longer items. For even more handy storage, lift up the floor panel. That’s where you’ll find a removable water-resistant under-floor storage box. It’s perfect for keeping your stuff on ice or out of sight – and then taking it with you when you’re ready to go. To complete this picture of versatile utility, flip over the reversible floor panels. They’re luxury carpet on one side and wipe-clean all-weather rubber on the other.
