With the Civic Si’s improved 2.4-litre i-VTEC® engine, bigger really is
better. The 201-horsepower engine with 170 lb.-ft. of torque is guaranteed to
get your heart racing. The close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission, helical
limited-slip differential and multi-link double-wishbone rear suspension make
for a ride that race car drivers would appreciate on the track, let alone off of
it.
201 hp engine. We made a big deal even bigger.
We increased the torque from the previous Si model by 22%. How? By dropping
in a bigger engine with 201 hp and 170 lb.-ft. torque. It’s got more low-end
oomph, which makes it feel that much quicker.
Rollin’ on 17s.
They don’t just look sharp. The unique 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels improve
handling without adding unnecessary weight.
It’s all in the manual.
Automatic-transmission technology’s wonderful, but the serious driver will
appreciate the close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission, which is perfectly
paired with the Si’s helical limited-slip differential. It offers quicker shifts
for the utmost in handling and control.
